Rewrite of Form of Government
- Did you remember that the 217th GA mandated a
rewrite of the Form of Government section of the Book of
Order? The final recommended version was due from
the task force on September 1 but wasn't posted until September 19.
Subsequently the Stated Clerk has allowed that the task
force can make
changes to the draft until the February 22
deadline for submitting overtures objecting to the
content. This means Presbyteries may be unable to
view all of the updates in time to submit objections.
